Munich MultiMedia
International Festival and Congress
1985 - 1993, Founder and president: Julien Biere
Partner: Kulturreferat der Landeshauptstadt München, Münchner Filmwochen, KODAK AG and numerous other top players of the photographic industry. During the 1991 festival Julien Biere also organized a congress entitled "AV Media and the Museum" in cooperation with "Landesstelle für die nicht-staatlichen Museen in Bayern". In 1993 MMM attracted some 120 submissions from 25 countries and become the largest event of its kind in Europe and the second largest world wide. Yet, with silver photography dying and digital media taking over in the Ninetees, all AV festivals eventually passed away. What is left are the memories of unforgettable great shows.
