'Dia-AV Werkstattseminare'

Within the framewortk of "AVZ Basic Media" and the later "AV-Akademy Munich" Julien Biere developed a unique workshop model on self-production of audiovisuals. Throughout a decade he toured Germany and Austria, together with his colleagues Lothar Schiffler and Luise Lehmann, training sevaral hundreds of development aid workers and NGO members.
On a regular basis he trained aid workers of the German Volunteers Service DED and the protestant aid agency Dienste in Übersee (DÜ), among many others such as ÖIE, AGEH, Terre des Hommes and DSE.
In addition he organised popular holiday workshops for photo amateurs in Italy (Toscana) and France (Corsica).
